As rockers & rockets use fancy names We/I do the same: My name is C. J. Himmelstrutz. Why? To honor the Swedish author, Captain Sture Dahlström who in one of his novels told us the amazing story about Caotico Q Himmelstrutz

C. J. Himmelstrutz (2021)

One usual Saturday in March or April 1976, as always hanging around any radio available and suddenly the intro of Jailbreak is heard—what a riff, what a sound—this is absolutely not usual so I get trapped immediately and it makes me start playing electric guitar the same day, at least that little head does…

At this point it happened I also started to play with electronics, because of what’s explained above—the sound was, and still is, at least as important as the actual playing! This might have happened in 1979 (same year as Lizzy’s Black Rose was released), while a record upon where we could find Winter Of '79 was played here, again & again…

The first guitar amplifier was completed in 1982 (and the development  of FETTO started 1988) and here we are now, 41 years later (2023) with all the way original guitar gadgets—THIS YEAR ALSO BACK WHERE IT ALL STARTED – WITH AMPS!—all still 100% developed & made by the same man in Sweden, a country of Västerbottensost, Sture Dahlström, The Wrench, Fermented Baltic Herring, Mackmyra
