Himmelstrutz SPRNKLR PLUS: Classic Princeton Reverb with Modern Versatility

SPRNKLR PLUS offers a rich, immersive sound that emulates the splashy, metallic quality of the original Princeton tube spring reverb. It features enhanced controls, including reverb time (“SIZE”), reverb mix/level (“SPRNK”) and tone (“TONE”) allowing you to shape the reverb character to your preference.

One of the standout qualities of the SPRNKLR PLUS is its dynamic response, which reacts to your playing intensity (like all Himmelstrutz' products). Harder picking produces a more pronounced reverb effect, while softer playing results in a more subtle ambiance. This expressive quality, combined with the pedal’s analog warmth, delivers a natural reverb tone reminiscent of tube amps. The Sprnklr+ also captures the harmonic complexity and depth associated with a tube-driven reverb, adding that lush and organic quality to your sound. Additionally, it includes a modulation feature that sums it all up with a gentle, warbling effect to the reverb tail, simulating the slight pitch variations found in vintage spring reverb units.

The SPRNKLR PLUS is equipped with two footswitches. The first one is named GIMME, a true bypass switch that engages or disengages the reverb effect without coloring your original signal. The second switch, named MORE, provides a bigger reverb space and, if desired, a little volume boost (approx 3 dB) for quick and easy transitions between 2 different reverb styles/intensities and volumes during performances.

Unlike many digital reverb effects, including the more modern, versitile ones with for example Toneprint functions, SPRNKLR PLUS avoids the common sterile sounds with help of its musical, analog amplification/mixing-paths.
